I have been doing mock-up advertising for the surfing and outdoor industry to fullfill a lifelong dream of working within it. I have yet to fullfill that dream, but I do have an eye for the grungy and less corporate design aesthetic. I tend to say that I am a designer divided; a formally educated designer that can cater to corporate and high-end design while also being an outdoorsman that can cater to companies in the outdoor industry.

 

Versatility is crucial for a designer to become successful and have a diverse portfolio of clients.
